Reply dt.29-01-2024:-We are manufacturing Plastic Packaging
items such as Expanded Polyethylene Foam Sheets, Rolls. These are used for packaging purpose
in the Electronic and other industries. Our customers are:
1. The Global Green Company, Zaheerabad
2). Laxmi Industrial Products, Chennai
3). SVR Lab Instrumets, Hyderabad,
The raw material required is Low Density Polyethylene Granules. The process of manufacture is
LDPE Granules are poured in the Extruder hopper and passed through the heater at a temperature
of 100 Degrees for melting and after that making it cool with using Chiller and Glycerol
Monostearate and after that we get final Product comes out with Room temperature. The final
Product is used for packaging items. The final product is known has Plastic processed goods –
and the same comes under Green category. Our end product is covered in the Packaging item in
the GST Act and charging the GST @ 18%. Copy of the Pollution acknowledgement obtained
from the industries Department is enclosed.
The end product mentioned in the CFE application is “Expanded Polyethelene Foam” is a
technical word. Actually it is a plastic product - covered in broad category “POLYETHTLENE
AND PLASTIC PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING (VIRGIN PLASTIC) – GREEN”. Hence we
request the TSPCB and Director of Industries kindly change the wording as “Plastic packaging
materials to Protective packing materials and treat the same in the Green category. |
