Kindly clarify whether the industry falls under HMDA Industrial use zone & compliance of siting guidelines.
Part – I : Siting Guidelines
1. Distance from human habitation and other places:
a) The distance between the boundary of the site and human habitation, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, Religious places shall not be less than 800 m.
b) The distance between the boundary of the site and human habitation, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, Religious places shall not be less than 500 m, subject to the following additional pollution control measures:
i. Stone crushers up to 200 TPH capacity, shall have total enclosed shed with dust extraction system followed by bag filters for the entire plant and machinery.
ii. Stone crushers with more than 200 TPH capacity, individual closed sheds with dust extraction systems followed by bag filters shall be provided for primary crusher (jaw crusher), secondary crusher (cone crusher), tertiary crusher (impactors) and vibrating screens.
2. The distance between the boundary of the site and nearest National Highway shall not be less than 500 m.
3. The distance between the boundary of the site and nearest State Highway, MDR and other roads shall not be less than 100 m.
4. The stone crusher shall be preferably located near the quarry.
5. The total area of the proposed site shall be at least 3 acres.
6. The greenbelt of 3 rows of tall growing trees with wide leaves atleast with minimum 5 m width shall be developed along the boundary of the site in the 50 m width buffer zone of the stone crushing unit. This green belt shall be developed on outer side of the buffer zone so as to act as a barrier. |
