The proponent appealed that the rear portion of their premises has been rented out to SLN Polymers for the manufacturing of HDPE bottles and caps from virgin plastic granules, which falls under the Green category and hence radial distance from SLN Agri inputs to Narayanagiri Village is 1.00 km, which complies with the Board's Siting Criteria for the establishment of a pesticide formulation unit. But, the TS Model School is located at a distance of about 200 mtrs from the proposed site in east direction and hence the proposed site is still not meeting the siting guidelines of the Board. The industry shall clarify on the same. |
