We propose to establish a unit for the manufacture of Super Enamelled (Magnet) Copper and Aluminium Wire. The process involves cold drawing of non-ferrous metals followed by annealing. Subsequently, the drawn wire undergoes a hot dip coating process using enamel in a heating system integrated with a two-stage catalytic converter.
To manage emissions arising during the enamel coating and curing process, we will install an advanced pollution control system. The exhaust gases will be directed through a catalytic converter designed to significantly reduce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx). Following this, the gases will be subjected to a high-temperature filtration and treatment system to ensure emissions are brought within the permissible limits prescribed by the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB). The system is also equipped with odor neutralization features to eliminate any residual smell before release into the ambient atmosphere.
Importantly, we will not carry out any surface treatment operations such as descaling, acid pickling, or galvanising. The process will also not generate any industrial wastewater, except for domestic sewage and cooling tower blowdown, which will be handled appropriately.
