As per the CPCB directions dated 29.04.2025 issued in compliance with the Hon’ble NGT Order dated 25.10.2021 in OA No. 400 of 2019, Advanced Batch Automated Process (ABAP) Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO) units shall only be allowed.
As per the siting criteria under SOPs issued by CPCB vide 16.01.2024, new ABAP Type TPO units shall be allowed only in the industrial areas / land.
As per the revised SOPs, the TPO unit having cumulative maximum batch capacity upto 60 Tonnes per day only be allowed within a premises.
In view of the above, the proponent shall clarify the compliance with the above CPCB directions.
