It is submit that the Zonal office has rejected CFE application of M/s. LASER SHAVING PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED., is located at Sy.No: 65, 70, Gunded (Gp)&(V), Balanagar (M), Mahbubnagar District with following:
The industry’s site is located at distance of 300 mtrs form near by human habitation i.e., Kummarikunta Tanda, thereby not meeting Boards siting gridlines.
The industry has representation stating that the manufacturing process shall not create any pollution in the premises though there shall be small quantity of sludge generation which shall be disposed off through authorized agent specified by Board. Besides this the small scale industry shall provide an employment to the local people around 80 to 90 persons
The industry is surrounded by East: Agriculture land, West: Agriculture land, North: Agriculture land and South: Agriculture land. The Kummarikunta Tanda from proposed site is about 300 mtrs. The Gunded(V) is about 1Kms from the proposed industry.
As per circular Memo no 11/PCB/CFE/ ROs & ZOs/2012 dated 02.02.2013, the Board has directed that the CFE application of the industries for which there are no siting guidelines stipulated by the Board, shall be rejected only based on pollution potential of the industries and impact on the surroundings and not merely on distance criteria.
In the view of the above, the issue of CFE application may be placed before CFE committee for taking suitable decision
