The issue of renewal to M/s. Singareni Collieries Company limited, RG-I Area Township, Godavarikhani, Ramagundam (Mandal), Peddapalli district was reviewed in the CFO Committee meeting held on 09.04.2018 and the Committee observed that M/s. SCCL has not constructed STP for treatment of domestic wastewater , not submitted any details of progress regarding the land acquisition for STP construction decided that the unit shall submit a written undertaking on the construction of STP with specific time limits to the Board. After receipt of the undertaking, the same will be reviewed again by the committee.
The Board vide lr.dt. 21.04.2018 requested the industry to submit information sought by the Committee. The industry vide lr.dt. 19.05.2018 submitted the information stating that land for construction of STP is identified and it will be completed by December,2019.
The issue was again placed in the CFO Committee meeting held on 08.08.2018. The Committee noted that M/s. SCCL has not yet floated tender for construction of STP by December, 2019. After detailed discussion, the Committee decided that the issue will be reviewed again in the CFO Committee meeting after submission of DPR prepared by consulting agency and finalization of tender.
The Board vide lr.dt. 20.08.2018 communicated the decision of the CFO committee to the industry. But, the industry has not furnished any information even after lapse of 5 months time.
