1. M/s. Pawan Electricals (Unit-II), Sy. No. 858/Part, Medchal (V), Medchal-Malkajgiri District is involved in manufacture of Aluminum Die Cast Ceiling Fan Covers.
2. As per the CFE order issued to the industry, the industry has to provide Air Pollution Control Equipment(APCE), Wet Scrubber to control the process emissions from six Nos of Oil fired furnaces of capacity 300 Kg. However, the industry has not yet provided any APCE i.e., Wet Scrubber to oil fired furnaces.
3. As per the Regional Officer's report, it was observed that there are openings in the process shed provided by the industry, resulting in fugitive emissions from the industry in the surrounding areas.
4. A Notice was issued to the industry vide Notice dated 10.01.2019 for Non- compliance of the above conditions, vide reference 2nd cited.
5. The industry shall pay balance CFE fee of Rs.3,760/-, as per G.O.Ms.No.22, dated 09.07.2018. |
