i. The industry is operating without valid consents of the Board.
ii. The industry was operating without obtaining CFE and CFO of the Board and the Board received Complaint against the industry regarding Smell nuisance.
iii. As per the Regional Officer’s report, the industry has not submitted valid proof for date of commissioning of the lab. However, the industry has submitted Rental Agreement of the premises dated 01.01.2019 as against the received complaint dated 01.11.2018
iv. The industry has provided suction hoods for the lab platform, but not installed scrubber for removing the VOCs after suction and directly letting into the atmosphere. During the inspection, Strong odour was observed in the lab indicating the inadequacy of fume hoods available |
