1. M/s. Welspun Flooring Limited, Sy.No.190, IP Chandanvalle (V), Shabad (M), Rangareddy District has applied for CFE (Expansion) of the Board proposed for manufacture of Stone Plastic Composite - 10700000 Sq.mtrs/annum within the same premises at Sy.No.190, IP Chandanvally (V), Shabad (M), Rangareddy District with an investment of Rs.213.4144 Crores under Red category.
2. During the meeting, the industry representative has informed that, they have planned to establish Bulk Continuous Filament (BCF) yarn – 17,500 MT/Annum and Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) – 7500 MT/Annum. Both these materials will be used as raw materials for manufacture of Tufted Carpet and Floor tiles which is downstream unit. As per the EIA notification- 2006, the proponent has informed that the category comes under Category-B under Activity-5(d) - Manufacturing of “Manmade fiber other than Rayon”, which attracts Environmental Clearance and has applied for the same at MoEF & CC, New Delhi on 22.11.2018. |
