ii. As per the earlier consent order, the industry shall maintain 500 mtrs setback distance form active mine to the boundary of the quarry, ii) the industry shall provide Kirby sheets with a minimum height of 20 feet along the boundary of the quuary to wards Ambedkar colony, Madikonda and Bapuji nagar colony. However, as per the Regional Officer's (RO) report , the industry is not complying the condition.
iii. As per the RO report, the industry is not controlling the fugitive dust emissions. The industry has not provided water spraying arrangement on haul roads, loading and unloading and at transfer points for dust suppressions.
iv. The industry has not graded the roads.
v. The industry has not adopted any measures to control erosion of dumps.
vi. The industry has not taken any conservation measures to augment ground water resources in the area.
vii. The industry has not developed sufficient green belt.
viii. The industry has not provided water sprinklers to suppress the dust from the roads both on approach roads as well as roads used within the quarry. |
