The applicant obtained Environmental Clearance (EC) from State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Govt. of India, Hyderabad vide Order No. SEIAA/TS/KHM-41/2013-797, dt. 08.05.2013. This EC is valid for period of 7 years OR the expiry date of mine lease period issued by the Government whichever is earlier. It was reported that the life of the mine is 7 years.
The industry obtained Mine plan approval on 24.02.2009 issued by the Asst. Director of Mine & Geology, Khammam for a period of 20 years with affect from 08.09.2008 to 07.09.2028. But, EC is valid for 7 years i.e. upto 07.05.2020.
Hence, you are requested to obtain EC and apply for consent of the Board.
