The proponent proposed “Pharma impurity standards, intermediates, speciality chemicals as products”, the proposed products are synthetic Organic Chemicals which attract EIA Notification and requires Environmental Clearance(EC), same may be clarified. Karkapatla Bio-tech Park is designated for formulation / Blending operations only and not obtained EC.
Further it is observed that the proponent has submitted empty application and not mentioned details of water consumption, waste water generation, treatment and disposal details of waste water generated, Air pollution Sources ( Boiler, Thermic fluid/electric heater& DG Set) and control measures , Solid waste generation and disposal details in respective fields of online application. The same shall be filled in the online application and resubmit application in full form. The industry shall mention “Nil/NA” in the respective fields of online application if the above details are not applicable.
