This is a R&D scale of pilot plant comes under the premises of STPP Singareni, which collects the CO2 emitted from flue gas and convert the CO2 to into value added product such as Methanol. Since we collecting the CO2 and converting the same to Methanol, this project helps us in getting the carbon credits. Since it is a R&D project, there is no commercialization involved at any stage of the mentioned project. This project is purely a fundamental study to understand the flexibility of CO2 conversion at larger scale. The sanction letter from CMPDI detailing the purpose of the project is attached for your kind reference.
In line to your concern, as the proposed activity is in the STPP premises but there is no commercialization part involved in this project. It will be like a R&D center for converting CO2 to methanol. Please consider this point and treat this proposed activity as Green Category.
