The Board officials inspected the proposed site on 16.03.2023 and observed the following:
1. As per process flow chart submitted by the proponent, the manufacturing process involves melting of CaCO3, plastic resins & additives at high temperature followed by extruding, cooling and cutting into beads. The line of activity falls under orange category i.e. synthetic resin manufacturing, whereas the proponent submitted application under Green Category under the line of activity Polythene and plastic processed products manufacturing (virgin plastic).
2. The industry has paid CFE fee of Rs. 49,600/- through online under on 04.03.2023. The CFE fee under Orange category for Air & Water Acts against investment of Rs.8.0 Crore is Rs.144,000/-. Hence the industry shall pay balance CFE fee of Rs. 94,400/-.
In view of the above, the CFE application of the industry is herewith rejected for the above mentioned reasons.
