As per the directions of District Collector, Nirmal a joint inspection along EE SRSP, AD Survey, RDO, Nirmal was conducted on 16.02.2024. It was reported that, the site is located in between left & right channels of River Godavari and will be under submergence during high flood discharge through SRSP Dam. In the event of untoward incidents such as extremely high floods a particular portion of the dam will be breached purposefully to safeguard the entire dam and downstream habitation. This breach portion is located just upstream of the proposed land.
As the proposed site is surrounded by the SRSP Dam , River Godavari & Crocodile Breeding centre, the CFE application M/s. Pre Unique (India) Private Ltd., to establish Palm oil manufacturing unit at Sy.no's: 14/2, 13/2, 12/2,11/2, 10/1/2, Velmal (V), Soan (M), Nirmal District may not be considered.
