As per the application, industry is proposing to use fresh chicken waste - 8000 Kg/day as raw material.
However, as per the existing CFE order dt:02.07.2022, CFE (exp) order dt:18.07.2024 and CFO order dt:04.10.2024, "As committed, the industry shall use Dry Semi Finished Poultry meal as raw material for processing the permitted products and shall not carry cooking of Chicken by-Products (Skin, Legs, Feather) under any circumstances. The industry shall maintain records of the raw materials received from the suppliers"
Now, the industry is proposing to use fresh chicken waste as raw material, which is not permitted as per the existing CFE and CFO orders. Hence the application is rejected at pre-scrutiny level. |
