After detailed discussions, the Committee recommended to Not to Consider the CFE application for the following reasons:
i. The proponent has not submitted the application as per the CPCB guidelines for Environmentally sound facilities for Handling and Scrapping of End of Life vehicles (ELVs) issued in March 2023.
ii. In self-certification activity mentioned as Engineering & fabrication work which is not matching with the line activity mentioned in the CFE application.
iii. The proponent has not submitted site plan and designated areas for ELVs scrap yard, storage & ETP etc.
iv. The proponent has not submitted Air Pollution Control Equipment proposed for Dismantling Sections to control the dust emissions.
v. The proponent has not submitted the details of Solid waste, Hazardous waste generation i.e Used Oil, Transmission oil, Brake Fluids etc., Used fuel filters/Air Filters, Spent Catalyst, Glass parts, Mercury Containing Switch, Brake shoe clutch plates/discs, Air Bag, Refrigerant Gases, MS/Aluminium Metal Scrap, Steel Scrap, Batteries Scrap, E-Waste, AC Compressor Miscellaneous like Glass waste, Coir waste, foam waste, Rubber Waste quantities & disposal details.
vi. The proponent has not submitted the CA certificate to assess the Gross block value on fixed assets of the proposed unit as the project cost is mentioned as Rs.19.00 Lakhs (As per application), Rs.25.0 Lakhs (As per EMP).
In view of the above and as per the recommendations of the Committee, the CFE application is Not considered for the above reasons.
